Marrakech High Atlas Ait Ben Haddou Dades Todgha Merzouga Draa Valley

Who it is for

  • For young travelers looking for a social, intense and highly memorable experience.
  • For people who want to see a lot without planning the logistics by themselves.
  • For those who care more about adventure, group energy and memories than luxury.
Why it works

More real group travel, less boring tourism

Everything is shaped for a younger audience: more energy, more clarity and a feeling of a December plan people genuinely want to join, not a typical agency brochure.

Great atmosphere

Perfect if you are coming with friends or joining solo and meeting people who want adventure.

A lot for the price

A very complete route for the price, ideal if you want a strong trip without a huge budget.

Visual highlights

Dunes, kasbahs, road trip views, markets, henna and traditional outfits for photos. It looks as good as it feels.

Itinerary

Our next departure: December 4-8, 2026

See what each day looks like: road trip moments, desert landscapes, iconic towns and one unforgettable night in the Sahara.

Day 1 - Dec 4

Arrival in Marrakech

The trip starts at Marrakech International Airport (RAK), where you meet the guide and the rest of the group. You will spend the first night in Marrakech, in a hotel such as Palais Al Barjah or a similar option in the modern part of the city. It is a smooth first day to arrive, settle in and start the trip properly.

The feeling First contact with the group, an easy arrival and the real start of the adventure.
Day 2 - Dec 5

Atlas and Ait Ben Haddou

You leave Marrakech early after breakfast and head towards the desert through the Atlas Mountains. The route crosses the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with scenic stops for photos and short breaks, then continues to Ait Ben Haddou, the famous fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site. Later in the day, the road carries on towards the Dades area for the night.

Best moment The landscapes keep changing and the real road-trip feeling kicks in.
Day 3 - Dec 6

On the way to Merzouga

After breakfast, the route continues towards Merzouga via Todgha Gorge. Along the way there is time for a cultural stop, henna with Berber women and photos in traditional clothing before reaching the dunes of Erg Chebbi. From there, you enter the desert by camel, stop for sunset and arrive at the camp for dinner, music and the most special night of the trip.

Key moment This is where the most iconic part of the trip begins: dunes, desert camp and sunset in the Sahara.
Day 4 - Dec 7

Sahara and return

You wake up early for sunrise over the dunes before leaving Merzouga behind. The return route crosses desert landscapes, the Draa Valley, the Anti-Atlas and a stop at an argan cooperative before reaching Marrakech again in the evening for the final night.

Why it stays with you The contrast between calm desert moments and the movement of the road back to Marrakech.
Day 5 - Dec 8

End of the trip

Airport transfer and end of the trip. A short trip, but one that feels much bigger once it is over.

Wrap-up You come back feeling like you lived a lot of travel in very few days.
